Tired Dog Game Birds offers several services to assist you in training your bird dog. In addition, Tired Dog provides pheasants and chuckar for hunts. Bird and Field Time
Tired Dog Game Birds offers 13.5 acres of training grounds, chuckar, and pheasants for bird dog training. If you are looking for field time and birds to train your dog, Tired Dog offers a bird and 30 minutes in their field for $25 per pheasant or $20 per chuckar.
Our team will set the bird(s) and then work with you to train your bird dog in the field. If you do not have a dog to hunt with or if it is your first time pheasant hunting, our company dog, Olive, is always excited to flush out some birds.
Purchase Birds
If you are looking to purchase mature birds, Tired Dog raises and sells chuckar, Chinese ringneck pheasants, and Mongolian cross pheasants. Due to the limited quantity of birds, our prices vary daily. Please inquire while booking an appointment or give us a call.

Renting the Field
The Tired Dog facility houses a 13.5 acre field that has a mowed corn cover along with a blend of dwarf sorghum, dwarf sunflower, millet, and buckwheat. This creates an Iowa-like walking experience during your hunt. If you have your own birds and a dog to train or hunt with, Tired Dog rents its field for $25 per hour.
